FAQs:

Money Matters

  • To work with The Remote JobHunters and be allowed to provide your services to clients, you must complete the following:

    1. The Certification Course for the client you choose is FREE!

      1. Please note that this can change in the future at Arise’s discretion.

    2. There is a $30 background check fee.

You pay these fees to Arise Virtual Solutions, not The Remote JobHunters.

  • Your compensation can be as little or as big as you make it. First, you choose the client that you want to service.

Some choose their client for the compensation rate only. Some prefer a client because they are open 24/7, while others choose a super easy client with less hourly pay.

You set your schedule (the minimum requirement is 15 hours per pay period) and choose when and how much you work. Then, your paycheck is up to you!

  • We have a low flat service fee of $49.75 per invoice, which includes the fee our partner Arise charges which is $19.75. We pay our contractors on the 1st and 15th of the month.

The Remote JobHunters has to cover business costs, including Partner fees, computers, bank fees, software, direct deposit fees, and more.

Our low, flat service fee allows us to provide you with support getting started during your certification process and beyond. It is of utmost importance that we help you to succeed. This fee empowers us to make it happen!

  • Yes, you are! As an Authorized agent, you are responsible for your taxes. The Remote JobHunters will provide you with 1099 if you make $600 or above.

Furthermore, you are not eligible to receive unemployment, overtime, or benefits as Authorized agents, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietors, and Freelancers.

We recommend you meet with a tax specialist to review what you can write off and what deductions you can take as an independent contractor.

  • The admissions process takes as little as one day. Once you complete the admissions process and join The Remote JobHunters team, you choose a client certification course. It may be around 30 days or less before the class starts.

Classes typically take around 30 days, but some are as few as three days. Once certified, you can start working immediately. However, depending on how quickly you choose a class, it can take 1 to 2 months to receive your first deposit.

Because you are self-employed, you control when and how much you work. Therefore, you can choose a client with a contract that meets your needs.

For example, if you need to provide your services only during the daytime or would like a client that is open 24/7, you can choose to do so.

  • The Remote JobHunters does not pay for the time spent in a client certification course.

We are the middleman between our partner’s clients and the Authorized agents, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietors, and Freelancers working from home.

As an Authorized Agent, Independent Contractor, Sole Proprietor, or Freelancer, you are responsible for any certification needed to educate yourself to provide your services to the client properly.
